In Winnipeg we have many different styles of homes ranging from older homes from the turn of the century to newer style suburban home designs and everything in between. Each different home has different elements that need to be assessed in order to give you an accurate quote. Some may only need ladders to access while others may require scaffolding or special lift. The preparation work can also vary significantly. Depending on how much the paint has weathered there may just be minor scraping and sanding while on the other end of the spectrum extensive scraping, power sanding and caulking may be required.
Due to these reasons, it’s hard to say exactly how much your exterior painting project will cost without doing an onsite visit and fully evaluating the applicable surfaces as the time and materials can vary significantly accordingly.
Here are a few exterior jobs we’ve done in the past including costs:
This one level bungalow in Charleswood required initial prep and then we applied two coats on all stucco surfaces around the house, as well as the front brick and wood siding. We also painted the remaining basement windows and door frames which were still wood.
This exterior paint job cost approximately $3800
This 2 story River Heights home required scraping and prep throughout and then two coats of premium paint on all wood siding and trim.
This exterior paint job cost approximately $7350
This backyard deck in Island Lakes required a full power sand and then we applied two coats of semi transparent stain on the deck surface, skirting, railing and the privacy wall.
